Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties is an
85 MGD plant located in Elizabeth New Jersey. The facility consists of four 1.77-million-gallon digesters with cannon mixers. BAE significantly increased methane production by 40%, VSD by 16%,
dewatering from 82% to 86% and saving the facility over $880,000 annually.
Landis Sewerage Authority is an 8.2 MGD designed plant with an average daily BOD influent of 350 mg/l. Adding BAE, LSA vastly improved performance, and they added a Food-To-Waste process. BAE increased their CHP efficiency, earning LSA the EPA outstanding performance, "First Place Energy Star Award".
Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority is a 2.2 MGD designed plant located in Cinnaminson New Jersey discharging into the Delaware River. Adding BAE
to the system, was able to reduce their
suspended solids by 125 lbs. per day, reduced their sludge disposal costs and chemical costs, saving over
$100,000 annually in expenses.
Gloucester County Utility Authority is a 24 MGD in Deptford N.J. across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. The plant treats landfill leachate causing occasional biological disruptions.
Adding BAE. the plants biology improved significantly and prior to eliminating their digesters, saved
over $465,000 annually.
Lewistown WWTP a 2 MGD plant is located in Pennsylvania. Heavy rains wash out the plant regularly forcing the addition of bacteria and polymer to keep the plant within permit. Adding BAE brought back the biology eliminating bacteria, polymer, and wash out disruptions, saving the plant over $21,000 annually.
The Hayward facility is an 18.5 MGD plant in Hayward California. Prior to adding BAE, the plant hired an accredited university to test BAE and finding it to increase biogas 48%. Adding BAE to the digesters increased generator run time 100%, improved
VSD performance, and in 6-months saved the
plant $28,000 in energy.
